Your 5–12 page report is prepared individually by a Vedic astrologer with more than 45 years of experience. Report length varies depending on the individual birth chart and the areas of focus included. It includes:

1. Place your order. After purchase, provide your date, exact time and place of birth, along with the area of life you would most like the reading to consider.

2. Your chart is read. This is not an automated gemstone calculator. Your information is reviewed as an individual Vedic chart.

3. Receive your written recommendation. Your 5–12 page report is delivered digitally within 3–5 business days.

4. Decide what to do with it. You can choose to have your Vedic jewelry made elsewhere; there is no obligation to buy jewelry from Outwitting The Stars. However, if you want the finished piece to follow traditional Vedic jewelry principles as closely as possible, the construction and materials matter. We recommend adhering to the gemstone and wearing guidance in your reading, using a high quality natural untreated stone without compromising quality, and using the pure metal specified by the recommendation. Why not simply choose a birthstone?

Jyotish does not traditionally select gemstones from the birth month alone. The recommendation depends on the individual chart, which is why two people born in the same month may receive completely different guidance.

Jyotish is a systematic Indian astrological tradition with a long intellectual history and historical connections to astronomy and mathematics. Within that tradition, gemstone recommendations are considered in relation to the individual birth chart rather than the birth month alone.
